Reflection

When momentum arrives before structure

A pattern seen often enough to name: enthusiasm and narrative run ahead of documentation, risk appetite, and the quiet work of alignment—then reality asks for receipts.

This note is intentionally abstracted. It is not a description of a particular client, transaction, or institution—only a pattern worth naming with care.

The pattern

Momentum feels like proof. Structure is slower: alignment, documentation, and the unglamorous work of making claims checkable.

When the order reverses—momentum first, structure later—the reconciliation phase is rarely comfortable for anyone in the room.
